Tony Godden was was appointed assistant manager at Lynn in November 1993
He took on the role as manager at The Walks on 12 March 1994 following the sacking of manage John Gidman.
He oversaw 68 game before being dismissed on 23rd April 1995.
He went on to manage Bury Town Jan 1997 - Aug 1998 and Wisbech Town December 1998 to June 1999.
In later years he was a goalkeeping coach for Rusdhen & Diamonds, Northampton Town and Brighton & Hove Albion.
As a player he appeared for West Brom, Chelsea, Birmingham City and Peterborough United.
He made 228 consecutive appearances for Albion, a club record, in a total of 329.
After retiring from playing in 1991, he moved into management with Warboys and then March Town United before joining Lynn.
