Lancaster 1 Lynn 2

LYNN made a successful start to their weekend in 'the North West by coming from behind to grab both points at The Giant Axe ground on Saturday.
Lancaster boss Keith Dyson was presented with the NPL "manager of the month" award for January before the kick-off, but the Norfolk visitors made sure that February continued to be fruitless, for big side.
The home side made a lively start putting together some impressive high speed attacks from the whistle. Claxton had to save well from Carter to prevent them going ahead In the opening minutes.
The keeper was called on again soon afterwards to hold on to a shot from mid-fielder Mark Davies from just inside the penalty area.
But Claxton could only keep his goal intact until the fills minute when ANDY GRAHAM headed the ball down and over the line despite the keeper's frantic attempts to scramble the ball clear. Lynn protested that the ball had not gone over, but the referee allowed the goal after consulting the linesman.

Lynn tried to fight back from this early blow, but solid and well-disciplined defending by the home side meant that keeper Gary Hudson was well protected.
The second half was a complete turn-around and it was Lynn who poured forward in numbers. They pressurised Lancaster constantly and it came as no surprise when leading scorer PAUL CHAPMAN equalised in the 70th minute after Freddie Easthall had found him in space inside the box.
Lancaster looked to have lost all enthusiasm from that point on and in the dying minutes CLIVE ADAMS sealed his team's victory with a diving header from a corner by Elliott.
