Kidderminster 4 Lynn I

This was the third game in three nights for some of the Linnets who travelled to Kidderminster on Wednesday - and they tired in the second half. With a much-changed team, Lynn had a share of the first half play and took the lead in the 35th minute.
A good run by Duncan Wiles split the home defence and when the ball rebounded in the goalmouth Malcolm Lindsay headed in from close range.

But Kidderminster equalised before the interval through their top scorer John Powell. The Harriers were much stronger in the second half and goals from Doug Foxwell, Trevor Kirby and Powell again took the game away from Lynn.

Lynn: Ringwood, Neale, Wilson, Wright, Rider, Benefer, Watts, Adams, D. Wiles, Lindsay, McManus. sub Venemore.
