Lynn 6 Tamworth 0

LYNN moved into fifth place in the league after the Lambs were slaughtered at The Walks on Tuesday.
Jon Palmer led the Linnets charge with a hat-trick while teenager Ross McNeil scored his first senior goal.
"I was very pleased," said Spearing. "I thought we played extremely well. Everybody has said Tamworth were a poor side, but we made them look poor."
Spearing was also full of praise for Palmer who became the first Linnet to score a hat-trick in nearly two seasons.
"Jon has really come on this season," continued Spearing. "He is getting his rewards.
"I pulled him back to left back later in the game and he never moaned at all. I thought that was magnificent:'

Lynn got off to a good start after 13 minutes when Adie Hayes' brilliant cross-field ball found Dave Puttnam whose cross to the far post was headed home by Palmer.
The lead was doubled 12 minutes later when a Tommy Wright corner was headed into his own net by Jon Howard.
Straight after the restart to the second half, Wright raced away to cross for Palmer to head home the third.
Palmer completed his hat trick just before the hour when he poked a shot past the keeper.
Lyndon Rowland added the fifth three minutes later when he raced clear to fire home past the advancing Darren Acton.
Substitute Simon Bush then turned his marker, but saw his effort tipped away by Acton to McNeil on the edge of the 18yard box and the youngster promptly lobbed the ball back over the keeper and into the far top corner.
