Lynn 5 Blackstones 1

A LATE flurry of goals saw Town move up to second in the Premier Division standings - but joint manager Kevin Boon admitted the final scoreline flattered his side.
Boon was unhappy with a number of his team after they turned in a laboured display against their mid-table visitors.
An angry Boon said: "The final scoreline flattered us and both Gary (Setchell) and myself were very disappointed with our performance.
"Even though we won 5-1 some of the players out there let themselves down and you can't hide that from the fans. "Some of the players abused the free weekend and it was clear that they didn't look after themselves like we asked them to.
"We didn't train on Thursday because one or two players had knocks and we gave them the weekend off but it won't happen again.
"At this level you have to trust people, but it was obvious out there tonight that some players didn't do what we asked of them."

Town failed to produce the free-flowing football which saw them thrash Boston Town at The Walks a week earlier. But they still strolled into a 2-0 lead through a Steve Spriggs half-volley in the 12th minute and an own goal four minutes before the break. Blackstones reduced the arrears two minutes later following a rare howler from goalkeeper Alex Street, which allowed Matty Cox to score.
Town's performance became even more disjointed as the second half wore on as Black- stones sensed a way back into the game.
It took a second-half spot- kick from Jack Defty, following a foul on substitute Robbie Harris, to lift the Linnets and restore their two-goal lead. Two minutes later Harris made it 4-1 when Blackstones goalkeeper Mike Duggan spilled a Jamie Thurlbourne centre from the left.
Wideman Thurlbourne completed the scoring in the dying seconds with a nonchalant effort from all of 30 yards.
Thurlbourne and Kieran Doherty were the pick of the Town players in a poor performance in front of watching Boston United managers Paul Hurst and Rob Scott.
