Lynn 7 Ossett Town 2

After losing ace marksman Gareth Sheldon to long-term injury earlier this season, Linnets fans could have been forgiven for thinking that goals would be hard to come by this campaign.
But Lynn's young and exciting side clearly didn't read the script as they continue to set the UniBond Premier Division alight by scoring goals for fun.
It was Ossett Town who found themselves on the receiving end on Saturday, as Lynn took their goalscoring tally to 23 in their last three home matches.
And if it hadn't been for visiting goalkeeper Liam Sutcliffe then the Linnets could have perhaps bettered the 11-0 drubbing handed out to Durham City a week earlier. A combination of Sutcliffe and the woodwork denied Lynn on numerous occasions. Lynn's latest demolition job began as early as the second minute when a flowing move ended with Danny Spencer, in for the suspended Anthony
Robinson, sidefooting home a Kwesi Appiah centre.
Both Carl Palmer and Owen Story were guilty of missing chances before Story poked home Lynn's second in the 21st minute after Sutcliffe had foiled Andy Boyce's header.

Five minutes before the break, utility player Spence] grabbed his second and Lynn's third with a delightful finish after Appiah's flick-or from a Danny Gay free-kick. Ossett reduced the arrears on the stroke of half-time when Kevin Ryan punished some sloppy Lynn defending. It took Lynn seven minutes to add to their tally in the second half when Appiah slotted home from close range following a corner on the left.
Two minutes later, defender Bobby Aisien registered his first goal in Lynn colours from yet another set piece.
The driving wind and rain made it difficult for players and fans alike, but Lynn continued to look like scoring every time they ventured for ward into the Ossett half. Appiah bagged his seventh goal in three games before Ryan produced a neat finish for Ossett's second goal after Lynn had switched off at the back again.
Nine minutes from full-time Aisien restored Lynn's five- goal cushion when he headed home his second of the afternoon.
