Hednesford Town 5 Lynn 1

All the good work of the previous week was unravelled as the weaknesses identified by Tommy Taylor on assuming the managerial hot seat – centre-backs and midfield – came back to haunt Lynn to make it six straight league losses.
Hednesford's leading scorer Andy Bell helped himself to four goals, and he and strike partner Leon McSweeney were too much of a handful for the Linnets' awful defence. Only a penalty miss spared Lynn their worst defeat of the season.
New boss Taylor said: "We had three good chances before they scored, so we knew we could open them up.
"Apart from the left-back (Gary Setchell) the back four had a poor game. Adam Jones and Danny Hammond were weak, back to where they were.
"Our back four tried to pass it to one of our players, theirs just headed or kicked it to our players, and we gave it back.
"I said at half-time: Win the second half to give these supporters who've come here something to shout about."
Bell's first half 15-minute hat-trick all came from through balls, but before he had completed it, Danny Bloomfield (left-foot) and Lee Stevenson (header) had sent wide golden opportunities.
Bell turned home a first-time shot in the 13th minute, and was then denied by Steve Wilson's body.

The Pitmen already had a strong penalty claim turned down before they won another when a corner struck the arm of Lee Stevenson, who seemed blinded by the sun.
However, Wilson bravely dived to his right to save McSweeney's spot-kick.
Mark Camm slipped to let in Bell for a chance, which he took from an acute angle despite Nicky Matthews' despairing dive on 20 minutes.
Bell again outpaced Hammond, Wilson partially blocked and the ball went in the net off Bell and Hammond in the 28th minute.
Up popped Bell three minutes after the break with a perfectly timed run and volley from Grant Beckett's cross with the away defence again chasing shadows.
Two minutes later the ball broke to Bloomfield, who pulled one back. Here the game got scrappy with numerous substitutions – the first half Lynn pairing of Carl Holmes with Bloomfield had not worked – and bookings, while The Walks outfit enjoyed greater possession, but their passing was frequently woeful.
The Pitmen started to threaten again and Wilson turned around the post a Carl Palmer header.
From the ensuing corner was half-cleared, and with the defence ball-watching, McSweeney turned and shot home.
A man in a white coat showed up in the crowd at the end - unfortunately he did not take away anyone watching from Lynn.
