Burgess Hill 0 Lynn 3

THE young guns struck again for the Linnets, who go joint top of the Dr Martens Eastern after a comfortable win.
In-form Robbie Harris bagged a brace to make his tally five for the season and Chris Bacon notched his second goal in two games as Lynn always had too much know-how for newly promoted Burgess Hill.
Histon and Tonbridge head Lynn on goal difference.
The Walks outfit had the first chance after four minutes when Shane Huke volleyed just over the bar.
The Hillians replied on the quarter-hour mark when Richard Carter had an effort blocked following a James Virgo free-kick.
However, Lynn broke the deadlock after 19 minutes. Harris raced on to a long through-ball and chipped Burgess Hill keeper Pat Cannon.
Midway through the first half a great move involving Paul Raynor and Bacon saw Raynor hustled off the ball when preparing to shoot.
Then Harris broke clear on the right and a dangerous cross was scrambled away.
On the half-hour mark the Linnets doubled their advantage when Burgess Hill took a short corner. The ball was played back to Leo Day on the halfway line who, under pressure from Harris, tried a back pass to Gannon.

It fell short, Harris robbed Gannon and rolled the ball into an empty net for his second strike of the match.
In the remainder of the opening half, Richard Woodrow and Harris had shots blocked.
The game was as good as wrapped up four minutes into the second half. Bacon's volley took a wicked deflection and rolled into the corner of the net, leaving Gannon stranded.
Woodrow cut inside the Hillians' defence and forced a good save from Gannon midway through the second half.
Burgess Hill replied when Ashley Carr nodded a corner inches wide.
At the other end Gannon clawed down Bacon's header, then a deep cross from Raynor found substitute Carl Holmes at the far post, but he poked a good chance wide.
Burgess Hill left it until ten minutes from the end for their best moment as Ashley Carr got behind the defence and his shot was tipped over the bar by Steve Wilson.
Soon after, Jack Defty headed a good chance straight at Gannon.
