Gloucester City 3  Lynn 0

Lynn's lucky streak ran out at Gloucester as they slipped to their second defeat of the season.
For a long time it looked as if Lynn would again sneak a point as Gloucester contrived to waste all their possession.
They finally found their way to goal after 66 minutes. Andy Tucker's corner was flicked on at the near post by Chris Burns and Gary Thorne smashed the ball home from a yard out.
The lead was doubled ten minutes later. A six man City passing move looked to have broken down when Jason Pascoe headed away but Steve Fergusson was lurking on the edge of the area and scored from 20 yards.

It was all over after 84 minutes when substitute Adie Mings split the Lynn defence and Burns swept in on the blind side to blast the ball home.
Away chances were limited and the best of the game had little Lynn involvement. Lee Hudson harried the City defence after 18 minutes but there seemed no danger as Kemp got there first. But he headed the ball past his own keeper and was relieved to see Thomas race back to clear off the line.
Brett McNamara and Hudson failed to find the target from good positions and Lynn's only other attack of note came in the closing stages when Tony Spearing steered into the side netting after good work from Craig Hopkins and McNamara.
