"The possibilities of a further increase in admission charges and of the club withdrawing from some of their present
competitions now that they have entered the new F.A. non-League Cup were raised by club chairman Mr L. L. Hall
at Thursday's annual meeting of Lynn Football Club.
So far as admission prices were concerned Mr Hall said the matter might be taken out of their hands because again this year
there is talk of making 4 shillings the minimum charge for Southern League matches."
Lynn News April 1969.
That season Lynn won the Eastern Professional Floodlit League (their first championship since 1954) and played their first
match on foreign soil - playing a friendly against St Pancratius of Amsterveen (Netherlands)
